If you are looking for a spectacular location for your wedding, it doesn't get much better than Applecross. White sand beaches, impressive mountains, the turquoise waters of the Inner Sound, and the beauty of a country estate.

Hartfield House Hostel is a former hunting lodge offering good, basic accommodation for up to 50 guests in ensuite double and family rooms, single, twin, triple and dorm rooms.

Options for your wedding

Accommodation only

Exclusive use of the main house (sleeps 31): from £750 per night (winter months).

Exclusive use of Hartfield main house and The Bunkhouse (sleeps 50): from £1,100 per night (winter months).

Exclusive booking of Hartfield House Hostel (this includes the main house, The Bunkhouse and the function hall): from £1,300 per night (winter months).

Venue for reception

Our function hall is large enough to seat 100 people at round tables. There is a small stage, and large double doors that open onto the extensive gardens. We hire the hall as it stands. You then have the freedom to decorate and use for your dream wedding.

Space in the grounds for a marquee/tipi

We have large grounds surrounding Hartfield House. When you book the function hall and accommodation, you have use of the grounds too, which means you can put up a marquee or tipi, bell tent or whatever takes your fancy for no extra cost.

The ceremony

Clachan Church is a beautiful non-denominational building right beside the bay and in walking distance from Hartfield House. It is a very peaceful, historic building that has outstanding views (great for photographs on the big day). And you have the benefit of being able to have any kind of ceremony you choose. Alternatively, you can have your ceremony at The Walled Garden, a fantastic space that is as you might expect, abundant with flowers and colour. Honeymoon suite and luxury accommodation

If you are looking for something a bit special, Eagle Rock is the place to go. The main house sleeps 10 and the 'nest' sleeps an additional four people. It can be booked as a whole or individually. Please see the website for temptation.
